The Whitby winter chills are starting to settle in, but that doesn’t mean that beach season is over!...Far from it!
The Whitby Scampi Camper overlooked the Canford Cliffs beach scene in the peak of British Summer during August Bank Holiday weekend to accompany beach volleyball and its players, spectators, and beach go-ers of Bournemouth.
A mere 6 hours & 325 miles from the home of scampi, the scampi camper journeyed the coasts and classic seaside resorts of Britain so we scampi lovers could enjoy the authentic taste of premium quality scampi from British shores!
Following its journey back to the its home in Whitby Team Gregory/Sheaf are left with 2 international competitions this season, and look forward to completion for crucial work rankings points to support their qualification for the Commonwealth Games in 2018!
Jake Sheaf said: “Can’t wait to compete on home soil in Bournemouth this weekend. Its rare we get the chance to compete in front of a home crowd, and we look forward to welcoming international teams from Norway, Sweden & Finland as we battle it out for a good finish!”
Chris said: “We’ve got a home tournament this weekend followed by the last one of the year in Sweden early November. It’s a great chance to finish the season strong and put ourselves in a good position for the all important Commonwealth Games qualification next year!”
“Whitby Seafoods are one of our greatest supporters, and its been incredible to have the Whitby community behind us this summer! We’ve been loving Whitby Seafoods as part of our home routine, and as one of our home comforts when we’ve come back to the UK coastline in-between torments this season!”
